No Compromise, Comprehensive Care

Consortium

SBG now offers a unique program specifically designed to support small and mid-sized employers in the Savannah area.

SBG’s solution to controlling health care costs is competition. Not competition among insurance companies, but competition among providers in our region. SBG has been an innovator in health care for more than 40 years. For traditional self-funded companies, there has been an opportunity to be a member of a business coalition.

Now smaller businesses with a minimum of 26 enrolled can access a consortium, step into self-funding, take advantage of negotiated rates and have a transparent pharmacy offering.
SBG does this by partnering with Benecon/VERIS. There are over 1100 groups participating in VERIS. This gives instant scale and protection.

Benecon is the consortium administrator and VERIS is the name of the product
St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System, Inc. delivers in network access
Companies in our area can now gain the flexibility of a self-funded plan, use of a Third-Party Administrator and a transparent, pass-through pharmacy program utilizing SBG’s preferred partner.

It’s time to look at a new way of funding your health care benefits.
