Now smaller businesses with a minimum of 26 enrolled can access a consortium, step into self-funding, take advantage of negotiated rates and have a transparent pharmacy offering.
SBG does this by partnering with Benecon/VERIS. There are over 1100 groups participating in VERIS. This gives instant scale and protection.

VERIS stop loss is managed to a targeted loss ratio using a global renewal. Each member’s stop loss premium is developed using an actuarial assumption NOT their individual loss ratio. This provides long term protection and smooths out volatility
Claim fund surplus is retained by each individual company
